Dr. Richard J. Olin has been a practicing dentist for over thirty years, serving as the Rahway, New Jersey School System Dentist for a decade of that time. He founded The Tooth Fairy Factory to make dental education fun, memorable, and engaging for young patients through a cast of original cartoon characters.
At the center of this imaginative world is Buddy the Tooth—an inquisitive, well-informed molar who first appeared in Dr. Olin's debut book, The Story of Buddy. This charming tale helps children build healthy, happy relationships with their teeth. Its whimsical illustrations, created in collaboration with Stephanie Wexler—a talented young artist and one of Dr. Olin's patients at the time—bring Buddy's adventures to life.
The Story of Buddy has since been adapted into an animated children's film, now available for download from The Tooth Fairy Factory LLC, a division of Olin Media.
Olin Media operates as a unified media group with two specialized divisions, each dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences:
Together, these divisions allow Olin Media to tell stories that transcend the page and screen—integrating beloved characters into the lives of audiences everywhere, and building a legacy where creativity, innovation, and quality storytelling thrive.
